Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay's birthplace was Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn, a member of the Mormon Church's oldest family, combined her literary expertise and impressive research skills into an outstanding biography of Joseph Smith. No Man was aware of My History appeared in 1945. The title came from a funeral sermon given by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844. He shocked the congregation with his words"You don't even know me." you never knew my heart. Nobody knows my past. I'm not able to tell my story. Fawn (29 years old) stated that in the time she has been honest since the moment she made her statement, three-hundred writers have risen to the event. Some have rebuked him, while others have glorified. There are a few who have come to a diagnosis. The documents are missing, it's that they are so contradictory. It is a daunting task to put together these papers--of sorting first-hand information from third-party plagiarism and integrating Mormon as well as non-Mormon stories into a mosaic that makes an authentic history. This is both exciting, and it's enlightening. Fawn Brodie's professional life was devoted to this aim. Thaddeus S. Stevens was immortalized by her works and the fruit of her studies. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. The Intimate Histories (1974) The Life of Sir Richard Burton (1974) and Richard Nixon.
