Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a television arbitrator from Cuba in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was 2 years old and was accompanied with her parents. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. The present host is hosting the Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", which is a Spanish language television program which has been nominated for the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015 she also ranked the top Spanish-language show at 4pm for the key demonstrations. Polo is an American born in Cuba and was born the 11th of April 1959. The actress attended Florida International University and graduated with a degree in political science. After obtaining her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. In the end, she obtained the PhD in law from The University of Miami and practiced law for 20 years in the city of Miami. Polo appeared for the first time on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal expertise was also employed for other court-related programs. Literature Accolades She published Los Hijos Muertos in 1958. The novel was awarded the Critic's Award, as well as The Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute arrived in the United States of America from Spain around 1960. Polo also a breast cancer patient and cancer survivor, speaks often about her cause. She has been an campaigner for LGBT rights her entire career. She graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1987, and is an active member of the Florida Bar.
